At Mogul our mission is to help artists understand their business and reach their financial goals. Here is how we can assist you in achieving this mission.
The first step in that is in connecting what we call 'Sources' to your Mogul account. A Source is any company in the music industry that might generate revenue for you. The first step in making more money is to first understand your business.
As such, we recommend you connect at least 1 of the following, which every artist should be in enrolled in to collect on their royalties.
Distributor or Label
Performing Rights Organization (PRO)
Publishing Administrator
Neighboring Rights Society
If you have not set up for example a Publishing Administrator, we highly recommend getting signed up as you might be missing out on streaming revenue!
Once your sources are connected the app should start to identify issues in registrations and point out places where money should be flowing through but is not. Our goal is to empower you to find these issues and fix them.
