Mogul is primarily an auditing and tracking tool. Its core job is to find registration gaps, identify missing royalties, and make sure everything is properly set up across all the organizations that owe you money. That role is compatible with having an existing publishing administrator.

Songtrust handles global performance and mechanical royalty collection. Mogul can audit the registrations Songtrust has made on your behalf, flag any that are missing or incomplete, and track your earnings from all sources in one dashboard. You don't need to leave Songtrust to use Mogul.

Sentric acts as a pub admin and registers your songs at collection societies including BMI and the MLC. Mogul works alongside Sentric as an oversight layer — we verify those registrations are complete and accurate, and track your total earnings across all sources. You do not need to terminate your Sentric agreement to use Mogul.

If your distributor (like TooLost) registers your publishing through BMG, Mogul can audit those registrations and help verify nothing has fallen through the cracks. Connect your sources and Mogul will show you what's registered and what's missing.

TuneCore's publishing admin covers US mechanical and some global registrations. Mogul will audit the completeness of those registrations and track all your earnings centrally.

Mogul's optional publishing administration service (via Mogul Ballad) is only activated when you opt in. Typically when you don't have a pub admin already, or when you choose to switch. Mogul collects at 100/0, meaning you keep all the royalties collected.

If you already have a publisher or admin, you do not need to add Mogul Ballad as your pub admin. You can use Mogul purely for auditing and tracking without any changes to your existing arrangements.

If you have an exclusive publishing deal with a major publisher (Universal Music Publishing, Sony Music Publishing, etc.), that agreement typically restricts you from registering your songs through any other entity without permission. In that case, Mogul can still track your earnings and flag issues but registration submissions would need to go through your publisher. Contact support if you're unsure how your deal affects what Mogul can do for you.
