How to check if you were charged twice
Go to Settings → Billing in your Mogul account.
Review your payment history. If you see two charges for the same amount on the same or nearby dates, you may have been double-charged.
Cross-reference with your bank or card statement to confirm both charges cleared.
Common reasons duplicate charges happen
Double-clicking the subscribe button — clicking the payment button more than once during checkout can trigger two separate charges before the page redirects.
Plan upgrade during an active subscription — in rare cases, upgrading while a payment is processing can result in two charges. The correct behavior is a prorated charge, not a duplicate full charge.
Browser back-and-forth during checkout — navigating back and trying to pay again while the first transaction is still processing.
How to request a refund
Take a screenshot of both charges from your Mogul billing history or your bank/card statement.
Open the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of any Mogul page.
Share the screenshots and let us know which charge is the duplicate.
We verify duplicate charges and issue refunds within 1–2 business days. Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card provider.
What if I was charged the wrong amount?
If you believe you were charged an incorrect amount (not a duplicate — for example, you expected $100 but were charged $125), note that Mogul Concierge is now priced at $125/month. If the amount still doesn't match what you expected, contact support with your receipt, and we'll review it.
Refund policy
Mogul does not offer refunds on completed subscription periods. However, we will always refund verified duplicate charges promptly. If you have any other billing concerns, please reach out. We are happy to help.
