How to Download Your Earnings and Statement Files From ASCAP

A step-by-step guide to accessing your domestic and international reporting files from ASCAP.

Updated over a week ago

The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers—otherwise known as ASCAP—is a U.S.-based Performing Rights Organization. They help you to collect on publishing royalties owed from public broadcast such as television or film, as well as royalties from streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.

You can download an earnings file from ASCAP and upload it to Mogul which will help us audit your catalog and inform you if any royalties may be slipping through the cracks. Here's how to find your files:

Step 1: Log in to your ASCAP account at http://ascap.com

Step 2: In the lefthand navigation, select "Earnings" and then "Statements"

Step 3: Here you will see your files broken out by international distributions and domestic distributions. Download each as a CSV file so that they can be bulk uploaded into the Mogul uploader.
