What is the Mogul MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets Claude connect directly to external tools and services. The Mogul MCP brings your entire music business into your Claude conversations — so you can distribute music, manage publishing, query royalty data, generate catalog reports, and more, all through natural conversation.

Requirements
A Mogul account (usemogul.com)
Access to Claude.ai (Pro, Team, or Enterprise plan)
Steps
Log in to claude.ai and open Settings
Navigate to Integrations (or Connectors)
Click Add Integration, then select Add a manual connector
In the Name field, enter:
MogulIn the URL field, enter:
https://api.usemogul.com/mcpClick Save or Connect to complete the setup
Start a new conversation in Claude — Mogul will now be available as a connected integration

Tips for Getting the Most Out of Mogul + Claude
Be specific — the more detail you give Claude (song titles, dates, platforms), the more precise the results.
Combine tasks — you can ask Claude to distribute a song and register its publishing in a single conversation.
Iterate naturally — if a report isn't quite right, just ask Claude to adjust it: "Break that down by territory instead."
Troubleshooting
Mogul isn't connecting.
Double-check that you've entered the URL exactly as https://api.usemogul.com/mcp and that the name is set to Mogul. Even a small typo will prevent the connection from working.
Claude says it can't access my Mogul data.
Try removing the manual connector and re-adding it in Settings → Integrations. Token permissions occasionally expire and need a refresh.
